Short motivational story on hard work.

“In ancient Rome, a king had place a boulder( heavy stone) on a roadway. To check how is more hardworking. Then he hide in the bushes, and wanted to see if anyone would move the boulder out of the way. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers passed by and simply walked around it.

Many people blamed the King for not keeping the roads clean, but none of them push the stone or clear the way.

After a while , a peasant came carrying vegetables with him. When he saw the boulder on road, he kept his vegetables aside and tried harder and harder to push the boulder. After trying hard, he got successful. 

After the peasant went back to pick up his vegetables, he noticed a purse lying on the road where the boulder was placed. Then he open the purse, purse contained many gold and silver coins. At the side of purse there was a note. Which was from the king.The King had written "however will remove the heavy stone from road, this purse will belong to him/her, this is a small gift from my side to motivated hardworking"

Moral : always we should do hard work, if anyone watch or not.
